Hydroelectric Power Plant

As the consequence of rapid development of Indonesia in the last decades,
nowadays electricity has become an essential needs of most Indonesian.
There is a huge demand of electricity in Indonesia and it still increasing.
Hydroelectric Power Generation is the most efficient and environmental
friendly way to transfer energy into electricity. We believe there
will be still many Hydroelectric Power Plants to be constructed in
Indonesia because most water resources are not yet explored or exploited.
We offer our service in preparing and constructing Micro-, Mini- and
Hydroelectric Power Plants.
We normally divide our services in three
phases :
• Phase I
Consists of putting data together in a feasibility study
report.
• Phase II
Is the finalization of the technical details of the project
and will mostly be oriented towards commercial aspects
for bringing the project to a financial closing.
• Phase III
Is the project implementation.
Our experts would start the project with a feasibility study, hydrology
study and geological investigation. Afterwards we will optimize and
determine all related hydroelectric works considering environmental,
social and gender issues. If an optimal variant is found, power production
could be estimated.
Design and cost estimation then will be exercised. We could then estimate
total investment for the project and also set a realistic construction
schedule.
When the technical aspects are solved and the investment is known
then the financial analysis of the project follows as the next task.
Depends on financial assumptions (eg. equity-debt ratio, interest
rate, price of electricity per kWh, amortization period, inflation
rate, etc), the internal rate of return of the project can be determined.
Beside assisting the owner in the commercial aspects, we will take
care that the owner is aware of technical and legal risks.
As it is common in our service, we will supervise the construction
and be involved in commissioning the plant. By the end of the day
we are proud to see a profitable power plant producing electricity
from natural resource which is supplying more Indonesian enough electricity
for a bright life. |
