Introduction To The Company
PT. Frisa Mulia Indonesia is a consulting engineering company, established
on 6th July 1994 in Jakarta and the subsidiary of Frisa Engineering
Ltd ("FRISA"), Switzerland.
FRISA Engineering Ltd. ("FRISA"), founded in 1970, is a
corporation headquartered in Epalinges, Switzerland, grouping together
with 19 professional engineering consulting firms. All are shareholders
and each practising to the highest standards of professional expertise.
It offers complete services in the various facets of engineering and
urban planning to clients outside Switzerland, such as Africa, Europe,
Middle East, Latin America and Asia.
FRISA now groups the skills of 900 highly specialised collaborators
in all fields of engineering, natural, and environmental sciences,
within a flexible and efficient structure, perfectly suited to the
management of variously complex projects and the achievement of our
clients' objectives.
The framework of this collaboration established by FRISA is characterised
by a global, interdisciplinary approach, linking the resources of
all its corporate members. Special attention is paid to technological
and know-how transfers and to close integration of local partners
and associates at every stage of project development.
As a result of this policy, FRISA has successfully executed projects
over long periods of time, for example: in Algeria ( a ten year close
co-operation with the Ministry of Industry), in Cameroon (close co-operation
with the Ministry of Construction to supervise the training of construction
engineers), or in Madagascar (management of all four phases of a road
maintenance and rehabilitation programme financed by Swiss Development
Co-operation SDC), as well as institutional and investment projects
of differing degrees of challenges.
During the past seven years, most FRISA members have implemented Quality
Management Systems (QMS) in their organisation in Switzerland. Many
have also, in a consultant capacity, actively contributed to the introduction
of QMS systems for clients at State and municipal/urban levels. We
would of course be guided in the project by these quality standards.
FRISA has considerable experience in all facets of urban planning,
structure planning, underground works, hydropower plants, urban management,
rehabilitation of infrastructure, water, sanitation, and waste management,
and organisational strengthening of towns and cities in developing
countries.
FRISA is registered with many international organisation as:
The World Bank, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United
Nations Organisation for Industrial Development, United Nations Organisation
for Food and Agriculture, Islamic Bank for Development (IsDB), Asian
Development Bank (ADB), African Development Bank, and European Bank
for Reconstruction and Development.
